Miranda Shiffer, CTRS
Miranda Shiffer is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, avid animal lover and passionate about prioritizing mental health and the therapeutic impact of the Animal-Human Connection. Currently working within a psychiatric institution with dreams to expand her therapeutic impact to the community and those who serve it. Aside from advocating for Animal-Assisted Therapy Programming within the institution she has started Growing with Grace to continue advocating for the power within the Animal-Human Connection and utilizing Animal-Assisted Interventions in the community to increase the impact of mental health treatment and one's ability to achieve optimal wellbeing.
Grace
Grace is an 8-Month-old Great Dane currently learning the ropes of what it takes to be a Therapy Dog, she will soon go on to receive her certified therapy dog title. She is an absolute doll who loves to be the center of attention, will soak up all of your pets and is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
